There are a lot of facts left unstated in my daily encounters with people. 
For instance, whenever I talk to an attractive woman, the incontrovertible 
fact that she will never sleep with me is implied through nonverbal signs, 
but rarely spoken aloud. I wish it were more talked about, more out in the 
open. Then perhaps we could progress to the next logical step: why do 
attractive women ever even look at me? If all my dealings with women I find 
attractive were limited to purely professional contact that allowed no time 
for flirtation, I would be less depressed, I think.
